CIMA Membership

CIMA Members receive discounted access to exclusive events around the city. With more events happening in 2024 than ever, purchasing a membership pays for itself after just a few outings with your coworkers, clients, and friends. CIMA is the perfect spot to meet new clients, ask how work/life balance is at other companies, and hear about exciting opportunities you may otherwise be missing out on!

Choose the Membership that is right for you!

  • Agency/Brand – Free

    Eligibility: Includes all agencies that are advising their clients on how to allocate their media spend or brands who are spending, either directly or through an agency, to advertise their products/services. This doesn't auto-renew.

  • Publisher/Vendor – $150

    Eligibility: Includes any platform, service, or publication in which advertising dollars are being spent. Some CIMA Members saved as much as $2,200 last year buying discounted event tickets for their clients in bulk. This membership auto-renews, but you'll receive a notification before being billed.

  • Student/Educator – Free

    Eligibility: Full or part-time student/educator with an Edu email address. This doesn't auto-renew.

  • Seeking Work - Free

    Eligibility: If you are currently seeking work, receive a free six month provisional membership to support you during your job search. This doesn't auto-renew.

Membership FAQ

Your membership is one year. All memberships expire 365 days from the date of your registration. Your membership will be automatically renewed annually on the expiration date. If you do not want to be automatically charged for membership renewal, please contact us at membership@chicagoima.org.

To cancel your membership and receive a full refund, please contact our office in writing at membership@chicagoima.org within 30 days after processing payment. No refunds will be issued if the membership was active within the 30-day cancellation period. “Active” includes, but is not limited to the following actions below:

  • Purchased event tickets
  • Usage of partner benefits

Student/Educators must be full or part-time students/educators with an edu email address.
